About the Internship
Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to apply your mechanical design skills in a dynamic and innovative environment? If so, you might be the perfect candidate for our mechanical design intern position. As a mechanical design intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers and designers to create and test new products and solutions for various industries. You will also learn from their feedback and guidance, and gain valuable hands-on experience in using state-of-the-art tools and software. You will be involved in all stages of the design process, from concept development to prototyping and testing. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other interns and departments, and contribute to the overall success of our projects. You should also have excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, as well as a passion for learning and innovation. You should be proficient in using CAD software and have some knowledge of simulation and analysis tools. You should be able to work independently and under supervision and meet deadlines and quality standards.
Selected Interns day-to-day responsibilities include: –
- Developing critical mechanical designs for a wide range of projects, using 3D CAD design software’s.
- Designing 2D and/or 3D designs depending on the complexity of the project.
- Providing knowledge of GD&T Symbols as functions
- Analyzing designs and assisting with the development of manufacturing processes
- Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, work instructions, and quality control procedures for design and development of the product, and for its manufacturing processes.
- Notify superintendents and project managers of the design’s progress and when the designs are complete.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation and records for all processes including standard operating procedures, training materials, equipment specifications and designs
- Performing day-to-day tasks as per the reporting manager.
